BMW announced that production of the current M6 will end in both body styles. With it will leave the market the 507 horsepower and V10 propeller’s performance division.
After M5 took farewell to fans to make way for a successor based on the current generation, another family member I will retire. It is none other than the BMW M6, which will disappear from the market in both body styles, coupe and convertible.
With this, the Bavarian manufacturer will withdraw from circulation theperformance propeller has equipped models mentioned above, namely the 5.0 liter V10 with 507 horsepower.
Its place will be taken from the popular 4.4-liter V8 Twin Turbo Power, capable of generating a total of 555 horse power. Eight-cylinder engine has already made its debut on performance M versions of X5 and X6 models. Next year, the unit will be adopted and the new M5.
